How long does it take to learn to drive a manual car?

Car manual
by furyksx

Im 16 and am getting a manual car.

Solution by Connor
Depends. I played a lot of video games, so I picked it up swiftly. You just have to find out to modify. Just take the automobile somewhere in which you can practice a lot, and bring somebody with you that understands how to drive it who can teach you. If it were that challenging, the automobiles wouldn’t sell.

Solution by provenuts
five – 6 gears long.

Is driving in NEUTRAL hurts your car engine? And it applied for both Manual and Auto cars?

Is driving in NEUTRAL gear hurts the vehicle engine/mechanism in extended run? If so, is that accurate for both modern-day Vehicle and MANUAL cars?

Solution by Archie08
No it does not hurt your car as it its just coasting along in no gear, however it is not advised as you could very easily locate your self in trouble not being ready to take of away from a crazy “quickly to be rear-ender” This is especially correct for motorbike riders. You are in less handle when in neutral.

Solution by www.citimates.com
It will hurt the engine with time regardless of whether is neutral or not just like any other engine.

If you test a automobile in a wind tunnel at max speed or just place neutral stopped and rev to the limit it will blow the engine the two techniques.
—————
I will just add that you want to accelerate to hurt the engine(OF COURSE lol). Every combustion cycle an engine has, hurts the engine no matter what, even if you do not have a automobile but the engine alone. It will hurt with time and finally die just the way it occurs to any old auto. Almost everything corrode with time, even a lot more in use, that is standard physics.

Relating to safety I didn’t say a word just simply because is not the real query right here.

Is it possible to change a manual car into an automatic car?

with 2 comments

Car manual
by Frank de Kleine

I’m talking an older vehicle that is only available as a manual.

Solution by Howard L
Achievable? Yes. Challenging and expensive? That depends on the auto and the availability of components. It is considerably easier to go from manual to automatic than the other way all around,

Answer by ironside
Lostfan5,
Yes you need to be able to fine a very good secondhand gear box to suit,a few hours function but wonderful exciting and hopefully very good task carried out,let me know how you get on,ok

Solution by antiber
Yes you can, but its not simple. For simpler to you, found a car with exact same engine as yours but combined with automatic transmission, no matter the model. If you locate, it can be “plug and play”, you may well just need to have to think the connection to shifter, greater if what you identified has identical shifter position. If you can not identified what I told very first, let’s go to the challenging way. Very first, you need to have to uncover the transmission you like primarily based on your wallet and area in your automobile. The you have to make adaptor to match the bolt between transmission and engine, with note that you made the adaptor soon after clutch and flywheel are centered. Then you want to configure the shifter technique and connect the wheel. Hard task but satisfying. Don’t forget to considering the gear ratio of transmission to the last gear.
